We all know that walks have helped us all through lockdowns – for me they have been some of the highlights of my day and have kept me going. Walking is such an underrated form of exercise and has so many exercises and has so many benefits.
BOOSTS YOUR ENERGY
Walking is a great energy boost! If you are feeling tired, a nice walk, even if it isn’t long, will make you feel more awake!
INCREASES OXYGEN FLOW
Oxygen flow and hormones, such as epinephrine increases. Epinephrine is a hormone which elevates energy levels.
Walking can really increase your mood and help your mental health. A simple walk will make you feel more productive and better about yourself. It can also reduce social withdrawal.
Walking is a really easy way to burn calories and people forget it’s a great form of exercise. Put your headphones in and have a jam while walking.
